Downpipes are sneakier than gutters - when one's blocked, the water usually finds its way out somewhere it shouldn't. We use rods, flushing tools and a bit of investigation to clear blockages from the top, the bottom, or anywhere in between. If we suspect the blockage is further down the drain rather than in the pipe itself, we'll tell you straight and roll on with the drainage clearance within any visible chambers (after this would need a drainage specialist - not us).

Why it matters
A blocked downpipe sends rainwater overflowing the gutter - straight down the wall, behind the soffit, into the brickwork. Catch it early and it's a quick fix; leave it and you're looking at damp problems that take much longer (and cost much more) to put right.
